IX WHITE SQUARE ANNOUNCED THE PROGRAM

On April 27-29 White Square International Advertising Festival, the most significant event of marketing and advertising industry in Belarus and one of the leading creativity festivals of Eastern Europe, will take place in Minsk for the 9th time.

The keynote of the 9th Festival is creative idea as the technology of creation of innovative marketing and communication in traditional and new media. Dramatic changes in the media landscape, types of consumer behaviour and preferences require new senses and approaches in creation and promotion of brands. By maintaining its positioning – business developing through creativity – White Square exhibits the trends of the industry every year. “CREATIVITY WINS!” is the tagline of the Festival in the year 2017. White Square goes further and call to the victory of creativity in all spheres of life.

Alena Ustinovich, producer of White Square International Advertising Festival and Chairman of Association of Communications and Marketing Agencies of Belarus (ACMA), says: «In modern competitive environment creativity is in great demand, because of its ability to save an enterprise budget and to make brands more valuable and worthwhile. Creativity in marketing communications is not the same as creative input in art, but means daring innovations, initiative alternative way of solving of business tasks. Nowadays White Square is unique for Belarus and one of leading creative events of Eastern Europe, able to give professional answers how to be successful in business with the help of creativity in marketing strategies and annually exhibiting relevant industry trends and successful innovative solutions, which work in different markets».

Educational and business program of IX White Square will be held for three days on April 27-29 and will consist of 4 main sections –creative strategies, creative branding, marketing, digital, which include more than 60 activities: workshops, seminars, round tables, and show-lectures held by recognized experts of communication industry from all over Europe.

Among the speakers of IX White square there are Creative and Art Directors of successful worldwide brands, holders of Cannes Lions Awards, headliners of leading communications forums of Eorope and the CIS (Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Qatar, Estonia, Latvia, Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and many other countries).

This year at White Square Ad Festival there will first appear the issue of place marketing and branding, which is becoming more and more relevant for Belarus and its domestics good in terms of entering foreign markets. On April 28 within the frames of White Square there will be held International Congress on place marketing and branding, which will include speeches from experts in the sphere of place marketing and branding from different countries, and also analyzing successful cases of this sphere, which may help enterprises in realizing the opportunities of using the resource of national attractiveness in their work.

For the first time White Square will present the Section of individual expert-consultations on marketing and communications issues held by leading experts from Europe and the CIS.
